I left my heart in Napa

This is a documentary research on who is who in Napa County wineries genesis. It includes a lot of vintage pictures from the development to the Prohibition and finally to the present America Great Wine Country. The author interviewed the few big wigs who supply him their family history and album. It is a tour of the winery without the tasting. He may write another book on the foreign laborers who till the land, grow, harvest and press the juice into wine and dig the storage caves. Of interest is the only winery which makes sake with a zen garden, an Asian way to enjoy life and wine. Page 106 pointed out meritocracy which is better than democracy in the previous president who in democracy tried to destroy democracy! The visit of African representative and even USSR sailors in the cold war made into this collection. Author comment: a few Napa Valley finest would indeed help thaw the relations. Reviewer comment: among the 450+ wineries, the Chinese wineries owners with the success cultivation of black truffe will shine Napa with sweet friendship contribution to Sino-American sour relation.
Reading this book will motivate to make a tour of wine in wine train to enjoy the good food combination.
