This is the second volume following the 2 year gap after the fight between Sasuke and Naruto and I must say that this series keeps on moving. I originally watched most of it in the original Japanese with subtitles, and although there has been some deviations in translation, the series is still highly entertaining and incredibly imaginative. I find myself racing out to pick up every new volume and I cannot wait till the next volume comes out. In many ways, Volume 29 can be described as a series of smaller battles in preparation for some major confrontations. Kikashi and Naruto take on Itachi and Guy and his team battle Kisame. All of this takes place while the Akatsuke start extracting the fox spirit from Gaara's body. For Naruto fans, this is a great volume, one that will leave you itching for more.
