Nerds....

I started the series in the middle, and just had to get the ones that I missed. I found this on to be one of the better books in the series.

Just like the title says, I love the nerd books. These are not a series, so yo can pick up anyone of them and start reading. They are a light hearted, funny, quick read.

When Hollywood make-up artist Gillian McCormick witnesses a murder, she turns to her old friend and former film star, Cora Bledsoe, for help. With Cora's help, Gillian is transformed from plain Jane to bombshell gorgeous. Cora also enlists the help of two dashing P.I.'s, Lex Manchester and Dante Fiorello. With Lex and Dante also transformed, the four flee Hollywood aboard a cruise full of nerds looking for love. But, the cruise ship has more on board than just hordes of romancing nerds. It seems that trouble has followed the foursome and Lex is determined to keep Gillian safe, even if he has to go nerdy to do it! Vicki Lewis Thompson books make me laugh. I just love her wit! While the plot of Nerds Like It Hot is outrageous, it adds to the overall charm of the book. I loved the characters and loved the boatload of nerds! Even the bad guys are zany in this clever comedy that plays off the classic Tony Curtis/Jack Lemmon/Marilyn Monroe comedy.

I've been a huge fan of VLT for as long as I can remember and I particularly love the Nerd series. This book was hot and funny with classic VLT humor. Great characters, engaging plot. Loved it, loved it, loved it!
