Funny, action-packed, interesting world and characters, I started Nevernight and before I knew it was through Darkdawn wishing for more. Don't stay on the fence about this one - Jay Kristoff is an incredible author and Nevernight is no exception.
Riveting and humorous with painfully sharp edges

Kristof is no joke when it comes to giving you EVERY gory detail and he tells you that outright. When I say humorous I mean that kind of dark humor that makes you chuckle out loud and then cringe physically. It’s amazing, engaging and interactive in a way that makes you turn page after page while holding your breath.
The sheer volume whit and snark he’s squeezed into this book practically bursts from the pages. He’s become one of my favorite authors.

This book doesn't skimp out on the gory details. A classic revenge story that is a fun mix of Kill Bill and Dishonored. The narrator adds interesting foot notes and kept me focused the whole time.
I was a little skeptical from the description of a girl in an assassin school. It looked pretty YA/hunger-games type. But if you give it a try you will NOT be disappointed. This book does a fantastic job of world building, action, comedy, and moves at an enjoyable pace.
