It's a new world out there. This completely revised and updated edition will show Canadians how to survive and thrive in uncertain and volatile markets. The new edition includes performance analysis... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is the best book about ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) for Canadians. It's the only book about ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) for Canadians... It explains what ETFs are, how they are superior to mutual funds. There are some strategies in there, Core and Satellite, Sector Rotation, and there's even a strategy called the Canadian Couch Potato ETF Portfolio. The author also explains the tax implications (for Canadians). There are several appendices which list all kinds of web resources, details of ETFs, explanations of the different indices, and so on. The book is written in a very logical and readable style. This book is very good value for the price. There are other aspects of trading which I think are very important but are not covered in the book. These include risk management, money management and position sizing. For that, you would still need a book like Van K. Tharp's "Trade your Way to Financial Freedom" or Marcel Link's "High Probability Trading". That's why I rated this book 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, I was quite pleased with the book. So, if you want to learn about ETFs, this is the book to get. Especially if you're Canadian.
