This is an excellent book that provides a fairly thorough exploration of the entrepreneurial process. From funding to launching a new venture, this book gives you the information necessary to succeed. While this is a textbook (used in one of my MBA courses), it is startlingly easy to read. This will definitely be kept on my bookshelf as a reference book going forward.

This is *the* book for entrepreneurs, covering everything from evaluating new business ideas to writing complete business plans. This book is well-written and informative, and it combines solid examples with detailed exercises. I was first exposed to this book in an Entrepreneurship class at the University of Maryland, and I've used it several times since. (Thank you, Dr. Bob Baum.)
a Harvard Business School style textbook on entrepreneurship

Here is what a leading business school teaches on entrepreneurship. Overall, the book is very well balanced in its coverage of principles and analysis of real world cases. With its size (800 pages of letter size), it contains information (such as sample term sheet, agreements, RMA statement studies) which are hard to find in other books. It is obvious that it couldn't be written without many years of teaching, research and practice.
