Nightmare

What made this book stand out was it's name. Nightmare sounded like a scary book or at least something juicy. It is a frightening book. Nightmare is about a 17 - year- old guy named Nick Corelli. Nick does not have a very easy life. Nicks biological dad, Joe Corelli, died because he was very sick. about a year later his mom, elaine corelli, got remarried to a man named Steve macklin. nick had seen steve before. one day nick and his friend decided to spray paint the side walks in front of the school. steve was the cop that came and called there moms. thats how steve and elaine meet. Nick got a dog and named it dillinger after the bank robber john dillinger because he would take the families things. nick had a girl friend named Lisa Shafer. he got off of work earily and went to see her and she was with another guy and she said she wanted to see other people. He got in his car very upset and drove to his house. As he drove under an over pass and someone fell on his car and died frome breaking there neck. He went home to his house and while his parents where at a friends house and he was sleeping someone broke into his house and dill woke him up and he ran down stairs and then someone shot the dog. His parents came home and told him to take the dog to the vet. the vet held him over night and when he came back home the kid from school named Daisy told him that Paul Valerian was the guy who died.

I use to not like to read but this book changed that. This book has murderer & Suicide and plenty of action. theres never a dull moment in this book. A body falling into a windshield caught my eye Immedietly. That is why this my favorite book ever.

I think this book was very interesting and is a mystery I like the sudden twists in it . I really liked it. I liked the plot it was very interesting the characters were good and the setting and theme were also good.

This book was very exciting, it kept the hair rising on the back of my neck throughout the whole book. Roberts wrote it in a way that kept you guessing and wondering what would happen next, making you want to turn the page but kind of afraid to.
