Summer 1219. A group of nuns from England set out to travel to the south of France in order to found a new convent. Against his better judgement Walter agrees to accompany them to ensure they arrive safely at their destination. But they never get there. Instead, one by one the nuns disappear in mysterious circumstances. What happened to them? Were they murdered? If so where are the bodies?
