Dan Brennan and his best friend Joe Lahlou have worked on insurance cases together before, but this time it's different. This time, Joe's immigrant family is involved, and there are unpleasant references to Islamic terrorism being brought up. An arsonist has torched a store owned by Joe's uncle, leaving behind an unidentifiable body in the ashes. Did Ali Farjani hire someone to burn the store for the insurance money? Who is the dead man?
