"No Longer a Stray" by Terry Deffenbaugh This is a great way to stimulate your imagination for prayer; what would it be like to be in each of the Gospel scenes? I read this book aloud to my children (ages 3 to 11), a little at a time, over the course of a month. And of course, since the story is told from the perspective of Jesus' dog PupPup, the kids beg for more!
