No Longer Spiritually Blind: A Book of Christian Poems

"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." James 4:8 ESV He gives us strength when we're weak and forgiveness when we're undeserving. And without His divine blessings, love, and compassion, nothing would be possible in my life. Even writing these spiritual and biblical-based poems in dedication to Him and in memory of ex-Lakers #24, Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and the seven others who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter accident on 1/26/2020. The Lord takes us regardless of our status in life. He gives His affection to all unsparingly with no reservation, and He promised to take us to a better place, where the light of eternal peace will shine for "whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 ESV). Robert is a retired social worker presently working with developmentally challenged individuals. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, and is the father of two children. Robert attended the University of Cincinnati playing collegiate basketball and earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree. He attends church at Crossroads in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he practices his spiritual beliefs. And enjoys a variety of activities such as going to movies, museums, attending sporting events, writing, spending time with family, and traveling. Robert's goals consist of sharing his poetry with the world and increasing his spiritual awareness.
