This book is an excellent guide for anyone thinking about cutting down or quitting smoking. It was THE most important thing I read before I quit smoking. Haven't had a cigarette since July 3, 1989!

I recommend it to patients. It explains the addiction and why we still smoke even when we know its killing us. Some good examples, Its for people in precontemplating, contemplating and action stage of quitting. American lung ass. uses alot of the information.
