Great Resource for January 1st Resolutions

I just love SOME of the ideas in this book. Some of them are really quite over-the-top. I still can't get over the fabric covered trash can. It's just so wonderfully horrible. My favorite is the skirts for the otherwise ugly plastic storage containers. Clutter is still alive and well at my house, but at least it looks great now.

Decorative Storage is an excellent sewing/decorating reference book. There is nothing quite like this book on the market whereas a number of other decorative sewing books are quite repetitive. The book is quite nicely done with beautiful pictures and it shows how to cover just about ANYTHING and with a professional appearance. I'd never seen a skirted garbage can! Some of the projects seem to be harder than "Low Sew", more of an average sewing project, with piping, etc. There is a good resource list in the back. This book makes me want to cover everything in my house! Highly recommended.
