I have been in retail for over 16 years and found Harry's book to be spot on! It is a fun, fast read yet is comprehensive enough on all aspects of retail selling that you can 'pick your spots' to actually apply the information to increase sales. This book also gives details on Harry's retail management and sales training programs which I have personally used to increase sales in several different retail businesses.
