I found this book to be an excellent for pre-teens to learn about the facts of life. It is factual without being graphic. It is sensitive to the child and gives a moral view of relationships. It is a book you can feel good about your child reading. It is an excellent introduction. I would recomend this book to any parent for their child. I am the mother of 6 and have lent the book to several friends for their children. I am not the only mother who likes this book. Not About Birds will help introduce a dellicate subject to younger teens.
