Lena is a woman of modern times. She is the female Charles Bukowski. I loved every minute of her book and loved her in Girls even more. Lena goes against the grain of patriarchy with her honesty and raw words. Well-played, sister! Those offended by her book have never left the house not wearing a bra.
A Waste of my $3

I was really looking forward to reading this book, because I was told it was "inspiring" for women, however, I found it to be a bit crude for my taste and poorly written. I feel the popularity of such a book (I mean it is written on no higher than a 3rd grade level) is proof that our educational system is failing. I could not bring myself to waste my time reading the entire book. If you are interested in reading about all of the men Lena Dunham has slept with and her failed relationships this book is for you, however, if you are looking for something uplifting and truly inspiring to strong women alike I would skip this one.
