The books in this series are absolutely incredible. The characters are very well developed, they are historically rich, and they are easy and fun to read. I read them until the covers were falling apart and I had parts of them memorized. I highly recommend them to anyone - even those who don't usually enjoy reading.

If you've read the first two books in this series then this is a MUST READ!! In my opinion this is the best of the trilogy. I couldn't put it down and when I finished I read it again! It contains an egaging blend of a heart warming drama with a perfect example of God's love and faithfulness. I don't know how Ms. Renich can top this one, but I ceertainly hope she does! (I'm dying to read what happens next!)

This is a Civil War drama about 16 year old Salina, her family, and her betrothed, Jeremy. It goes through what happens in their lives during the battle of Gettysburg, and the surrounding time. I would recommend it to anyone who likes historical fiction, or to anyone who likes a good book!

I love this series! I have gotten my friend to read them and we want more! These books are excellent I just cannot stop reading them! Also the Civil War is not over so their could be at least one more book!!! I have already said this but me and my friend loved this book and the 2 others in the series! Each bokk was equally excellent !Perfect in their own way!! So please right more!!

This is a great Civil War fiction based from the stand-point of a sixteen year old Rebel girl. She goes through many hard trials, but stands strong. Over all, a really great book!
