Simple but effective

I'm not quiet 1/2 way through the book yet; however, the exercises are very simple...almost childlike, but I've noticed that I am processing information faster and my retention appears to have improved. Sort of lends credence to that the simplest solutions are sometimes the best when attacking complicated problems.

I'm sorry I didn't run across this book two years ago when it first came out. I'm a board-certified cognitive therapist and although my expertise is in depression where I use exercises to re-wire the brain out of depressive episodes and which inspired my own book BRAINSWITCH OUT OF DEPRESSION, this book is wonderful for maintaining an already healthy brain and mind and can be helpful to anybody.
It really helps, i think it's great!

When i first bought this book, i was in need for something to help me about my forgetfulness and memory loss. Meaning: I found that i have not been able to memorize a license plate of a car that just drove by for even more then 15 secs! I felt pretty pathetic. So i researched the web and choose this book here. Let me tell you, it's fun to use, i think, and it works!

i'm absolutely remembering more, and feel sharper. the log in the back shows me that i'm remembering between 4 and 5 words more on the word test, and i'm getting faster at all the exercises. i'm almost a whiz at dinner calculating the tip. new ground for me! i have another two weeks left in the book - and i'll probably buy another. overall - highly recommended.
