Romance with plot twist

Good story and plot twists but I wish it was delivered a bit better. I also wasn’t the biggest fan of the fmc or mmc.

This is the 3rd CH novel I have read and it pulled at the heart strings! Had me crying, had me shocked but happy.

A little slow to start, and I thought it was going to be a predictable romance BUT the twist really surprised me. The writing style and plot reminded me of Verity. Emotional romance but lacked spice 🌶️ in my opinion.

Without spoilers- this book seriously captured the essence of pretty much every CoHo book I have encountered. What’s supposed to be viewed as a dramatic romance would have actually done better if advertised as a thriller. Before anyone claims I’m jumping on some bandwagon of hating Hoover and her writing, criticism is not a trend. Especially when it’s heavily warranted. Hoover’s aggressive, constant themes of abusive relationships being disguised as romantic is disheartening. No person reading this book should view this as a good relationship by any means, and only those with an open mind and a sense of strong self worth should be consuming Colleen Hoover’s “literature.” On the writing side, her works often read as juvenile. The style has been (rightfully) likened to that of a teenager on Wattpad.
Anyways, these are merely opinions, and those who really enjoy Hoover’s style should continue to do so, at the expense of their own sanity.

I devoured this book in a day. It's so good! And I was NOT prepared for the plot twist! Pretty sure I read the 2nd half of the book with my mouth agape! LOVED it!!!

TW/CW: Burns/ house fires, car accident resulting in death, suicide
Another miss by Colleen. I loved the premise at the beginning. I was all ready for a cute romance and I was very much let down. Every character threw all their values out the window once a sliver of conflict arose. The man man, Ben, became unbearable to me about halfway through the book and his actions are not nice!!!!!!!! There should absolutely be some trigger warnings in this book because heavy topics are just sprung up out of the blue. The plot twist made the characters even worse which I didn't think possible but to finish this was a hate read just to see what might happen.

I have not read a book this fast in my life- took me about a day and a half to get through it. It’s sooooo good. The writing style is great, the story is amazing, and the PLOT TWIST!!! You better have your seat buckled by the end half. Highly recommend, especially for people who want to fall back in love with reading!!! :)

the plot twist is so unexpected & the chemistry between ben and fallon is amazing and when i say i could not put this book down i legit read it in 1 day, 1 sitting. and yeah i didn’t want it to end but the ending was satisfying (not to give out too many hints) but the writing & just the concept is amazing

This is the second biggest plot twist i’ve ever read in a book. and the first one is from colleen hoover’s other book verity! She’s such and amazing author. This book so amazing. It follows ben and fallon as their relationship progresses. They agree to meet one day once a year on November 9th for 5 years until she figures herself out. But there are problems on the way that they may need to figure out. but also very heart warming stuff;) but The plot twist was literally so unexpected like ??????what did I just read. It’s so good. You most likely will shed some tears i know I did. And if you’re the type of person that wants to know if the ending is a happy ending or not then i’ll answer it for you. but if you don’t want to know STOP reading.

I was doubting wether it would be a good ending or not and it actually was! one of the final words of the book are actually “spoiler alert, they lived happily ever after”
