Science has answered great many questions, but Truth in absolute sense remains still elusive. It is not for want of trying. Even though scientists have managed to quantify how much dark matter lurks in distant galaxies, astronomers have been hard-pressed to figure out how much of the mysterious stuff lies within our own.
