Lovely Rhymes and Songs, Beautiful Illustrations

We all love this beautiful book with adorable illustrations and fun songs. The music is quite varied, so there are many different singers and different styles of songs. And the CD is long enough that you won't get bored with it. The only negative thing that I might have to say about the book is that the singers are British, so the accents may be difficult for younger people, but I really don't mind that in the least. It's good to expose even, or perhaps especially, little people to different accents.

Wonderful classic rhymes and a really GREAT CD along with this book, some of these songs are really catchy and I find myself listening to it even without my kids!

My dad reads me nursery rhymes all the time. This is one of my favourites. We have it on Mondays, Wednesdays and at the weekends. I love "I had a little nut tree" and also "Three blind mice" but there are some nice not so well known rhymes in there as well. Beatrix Potter is so good at this stuff! Valerie.

I love these little books. They are beautiful colors and wonderful prints not to mention timeless stories. I am fascinated by the life of Beatrix Potter and these little books only complete my collection.

This is a wonderful book for adults and children alike. It's printed in Singapore, as one can readily tell from the book's hefty semi-gloss paper and wonderful inked colors. The cover, uniquely padded and soft, begs for little hands to hug it and carry it around. Complete with all the Beatrix Potter illustrations generations have come to love, the rhymes are clever, simple and sure to become a night-time story frequent request. The size of the book is ample, good for sharing/holding the book between child and parent.
