This book came about by chance. Through a very close friend and colleague, I was approached fifteen years ago by a prominent attorney to review a nursing malpractice case. I said I was not interested because I associated such cases with attorneys who were 'out there' making trouble. To make a long story short, my friend twisted my arm and I looked at the case.
