very useful for students, residents, and ER doctors who rarely face OB cases

Earlier editions of this manual was a life-saver to me in my days as a medical student and then as a resident. Now I am a family physician who also covers the ER of a small rural hospital, and has not practiced OB for 10 years. For the purpose of dealing occasional OB cases in the ER, this 1999 edition is still adequately up-to-date and is very practical. Highly recommended.

Great reference for Ob/Gyn while on L & D and while in the clinic. Concise and to the point without all the fluff. Definitely a great reference to have.

This is a pocket book to have in your lab coat. Useful in ward rounds and on call nights. Good chapter on fetal heart monitoring.
