Love These Puritans!

I've grown to be a big fan of this "Puritan Paperback" series. It's a really approachable way to get into the minds of some of these thinkers. The language is a little bit old-school, so if you find that intimidating, this book might require a little bit of commitment, but you can do it! Owen's book doesn't really reveal any big "secrets" like so many modern Christian books promise to do. It simply lays out Biblical principles for how to interact with God . . . and I really appreciated the simplicity of that approach.
Read it, if only for chapters 3 and 4

This book is excellent. I highly recommend it. It is a long meditation on the love of God for the believer and how to enjoy it. RJK Law has made it very readable.

This book is for those who wish to Know God and deeply. No playing here. This is a very slow read. A great meditation book also.
