Now those eye-opening bestsellers have been revised by noted children's author Rob Suggs for young people ages eight to twelve - the age when kids begin asking the complicated questions adults... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I am having my two youngest kids read this book over the summer to allow for us to talk about thinking issues. Sometimes we think our children are unable to think, but we just don't give them enough credit. And so, in this new "kids" book by Lee Strobel, there are 12 stories that will help them defend their own faith. Each chapter has questions at the end that are wonderful conversation starters with a child. For example, "What would you say to someone who made fun of you for being a Christian? ...And don't say, 'I'd put ants in their bed"! This type of humor and the cartoons that are found throughout help make this much more readable and fun. Anything that helps our kids better own their own faith, I'm all for. Don't let our kids get to college before we wean them off the brand of Christianity we already practice; put their minds to work and the results will be long term.
