Meet Olivia . . . Fifth grader Olivia Thomas has moved to a new school in a new state, and is eager to make friends! Her best friend quickly becomes someone she has never seen - St. Thérèse of... This description may be from another edition of this product.
A beautiful book about charity and devotion! I read aloud with my 8 year old, she really enjoyed it. I think it would be even better for a slightly older child. We homeschool so my daughter couldn’t relate as much to Olivia’s troubles with friends in her school but we still found so many wonderful take-aways that we couldn’t help but love the book. I know it’ll be read many more times in the house by my daughter again and by my other children as they get older!
A Wonderful Inspiration for Girls!

This beautiful, heartwarming story creates such a wonderful perspective for girls to understand how to deal with difficult situations without compromising their values. My 8 year old could not put the book down and through the process increased her use of the St. Therese chaplet mentioned in the story. What a wonderful way to gain a deeper understanding of putting ourselves aside.
I wish every girl in grade school would read this book.

Olivia and the Little Way

I am writing this review based on my daughter's feedback on this book. In short, my daughter (10 yrs old) loved Olivia and the Little Way. The story of St. Terese really seemed to inspire my little girl. With such a good message and wholesome story, I would certainly recommend it to anyone. Happy reading...
This mom liked it a lot!

A truly unique and fresh way to share the details of the life of a saint (in this case St. Therese of Lisieux) by making her an important ally in the life of a young girl. A real-life application of the riches of the saints is something we can all benefit from. Please write more!
Not Just for Little Ones!

Olivia and the Little Way by Nancy Carabio Belanger is one of my favorite new books for a few reasons. First off, it is a wonderful, engaging story! Secondly, without being dogmatic the author is able to lovingly teach the reader about many of the important precepts of St Therese of Lisieux, one of the most important saints and a Doctor of the Catholic Church. The life lessons shared in this book are wonderful for a middle school aged audience, but the story will capture the hearts of a much more broad audience (including the moms of the those middle schoolers!) I'm hoping that this will be the first of many books to come from author Nancy Carabio Belanger and that you will enjoy this book as much as I did!
