I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift, but when It arrived in the mail I just couldn't wait to give it to him (ok, yes, Im terrible at keeping fun secrets)He became a Nebraska fan after meeting me (because I went to UNL)and now knows just about all there is to know about the Huskers. This book is not just about football, and the messages in this book can easily be used in everyday life.
This great coach sets a high standard for all of us.

If I were a parent of an outstanding football player who was being highly recruited, I know where I'd want my son to go to school. If more people read this book they wouldn't believe the hype of Tom Osborne being a "win at all costs coach", rather they would see him as he is - a simple, caring, religious man with a love for football and the kids he coaches. The sports world could use a few more role models like Dr. Tom.
