My Son's Favorite!

My son is five years old and "on the way to Kindergarten" this fall, just like the bear in this book. We took it out from the library in early July and we've read it together every night since. He loves the way it counts each age and all of the great things kids learn in those years. He asks questions about why the bear is doing things and often answers them himself by saying, "because he's getting bigger!". It is a very engaging story and the rhyming makes it fun. I highly recommend this book for children in my son's age group. I think it's a great way to help prepare them for the transition to Kindergarten.
