A powerful story of greed and self promotion within the church.

A minister is not a god! This is a classic character study of a minister who is guided by his own human frailties rather than by his religious calling. An all too frequent topic in the news, Author Pamela Jackson reminds us that people tend to look to the person in the pulpit as a deity but he or she is just a man or a woman. The characters are interesting and fully developed, yet stand as examples of a malaise we find all too present these days that only proves the addage that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absulutely. I am currently reading the sequel titled "For the Love of Heaven"!
