Not the best in the series, but still worth reading!

I’m a little torn with this book. It has some of my favorite moments in the series, but it feels a little lackluster compared to the others in the series so far. I think that the focus of this book is a bit too much on the past, on characters I don’t care about as much, with less time spent with Emma and Eadric’s fun dynamic. Still, it was really good, and the payoff of the first three books has been established well in my opinion! I loved the ending!
Perfect

I can't get enough of Emma and Eadric, and I'm almost dissapointed that it'll be another 48 hours before I can get to a bookstore to buy the fourth book. You could say this book is more of the same things from the other two, but it's still amazingly successful. Eadric is charming and exasperating (like most teenage boys), Emma is wise but clumsy (like most teenage girls), and everyone is just so well done and out of the ordinary. This series turns fairy tales on their head in a perfect way. An absolute must read for anybody that likes fairy tales, at any age.

I am more impressed each time I read this author. The tone is appropriately light for a semi-satiric fantasy without becoming too cutesy/silly. The characters are a delight, and the ending was both touching and hilarious. Highly recommended! Deby Fredericks Author of The Magister's Mask

I loved this book it was my favorite out of the three. If you have read the first two you will love this one.it is about when Emma goes back in time and tries to break the family curse and goes back home with this knowlege.Thinking she is about to end the family curse she has to go through alot more then she expected. I would recomend this book pre-teen and teens in their early teen years.
