Being from "PA Dutch County" I find these superstitions and traditions fascinating and intriguing (and some are still continued). The only thing I found slightly bothersome about this book was entire passages written in with strong Dutch accents--I understand that is how the person talked in "real life" but it was very hard to read and bothersome to "decipher"--esp. when it went on for paragraphs. But, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone--worth the money!
