Adorable book for young children

One Baby Jesus follows "Twelve Days of Christmas," but removes the secular images and replaces them with references to the Biblical story of the birth of Jesus. I bought this sweet board book for my twin 2 year olds and four year old and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all three. I liked it, but found the rhyming scheme to be lacking. Because "The Twelve Days of Christmas" is such a well known song, it would have been easier to read allowed had they kept the same rhyming pattern. It was a quick fix though, and the kids loved it!

My toddler class absolutely loved this book! I found myself reading it over and over and over to them. They loved the rhythm..they'd even get up and dance while I sang it to them (because hey! you just have to sing it!) I may need to buy a new copy for next Christmas..this one is almost worn out!

We turned this beautiful rendition of the twelve days of Christmas into our Childrens Christmas program. It adapted easily to the stage. We made the costumes for 50+ children, and had them build the scene as they sang Pingry's song. The story is beautiful and heartwarming, and puts a reverent emphasis on Christmas that all chldren can relate to; from 2 to 12 years of age.
