Eiichiro Oda, One Piece: Straight Ahead!!! (ViZ, 2000) Ah, Oda, you continue to thrill me with One Piece. Now that things are basically wrapped up with the giants, it's time for the crew to get on to their next stop (and having the permanent log pose certainly helps). But, of course, things can never be simple in the One Piece universe, and it turns out that Nami has fallen ill, which necessitates a detour to the nearest island. (You can imagine what monkeywrench this is going to throw into the latest unnecessarily complicated Baroque Works plan...) Wonderful stuff, as always. One Piece remains one of my favorite manga series. ****
Still the King!

One Piece is and will always remain the greatest manga of all time. There is a reason it's the #1 selling manga in Japan. I support One Piece and I will treasure each and every volume for thier amazing creativity and originality. The characters are amazing and the action is big, surprising, and emotional. No shonen manga evokes more emotion than One Piece. This manga will have you laughing, crying, and cheering for more. One Piece is the grand opus of manga, and everyone who reads shonen manga owes it to themselves to read this truly EPIC manga series.
