When Katie's mom has twins, Katie helps a lot, and her parents tell her she's a good big sister. But whenever she looks in the mirror, Katie doesn't feel any bigger. Then one day they all go to buy... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this book for my daughter, who is the big sister to identical twin boys. I was very pleased with the content, as it definitely pinpointed just how busy life with newborn twins is. Through the eyes of Katie, the big sister in the story, my daughter could relate with the experiences and the task of being the "big sister" during the first year of life to twin babies. It is an overwhelming job, sometimes one that is not quite welcome for an older sibling who still feels "little." My daughter shared this book with her classmates, because she felt so connected with the story. The end delighted her, as I am sure it will others, because Katie did finally realize how special she was because she was "bigger."
