      One of the most talented, enjoyable authors I've read

      Upon reading this book, the discerning reader will see that Kimberly Cates has the unusual knack of being able to portray interpersonal relationships and feelings so realistically, that it warms the souls of those who enjoy having their souls' warmed. So I guess maybe the official reviewers don't fit the latter category, judging by their less than flattering comments. Rarely does one come across novelists such as Cates who...

      I absolutely LOVED this book!!!

      I am a huge Kimberly Cates fan - and this book has to rank as one of her best!! The romance between Ashleen and Garrett is so strong - you really believe these two belong together. Both characters have overcome so much, yet they are still strong and able to care about others. The kids and their relationship to each other and the adults was heartwarming. And the bad guys were REALLY BAD!! I would highly recommend this...
