Opposites entertain in this classic exploration of an important first concept, now available in an enlarged anniversary edition. Big and small short and tall high and low fast and slow . . . This cherished board book from Sandra Boynton presents a number of animals demonstrating various opposites--from big and small, to hot and cold, to weak and strong, and much, much more. The illustrations are simple and charming, and the punchy, rhythmic rhymes just beg to be memorized. Now in a Special 30th Anniversary Edition with an enlarged trim size and metallic ink on the cover, this Boynton classic and ideal toddler read-aloud is even more special.
Cute and simple opposites book. A couple of the pages illustrations are a bit outdated, but still a cute teaching tool and entertaining book for my toddler.
Great addition to any Child's Spanish Library!

This is WONDERFUL. I used it after the lesson on adjectives in my four-year-old's Flip Flop Spanish Workbook, and he was SO excited to hear and see the same Spanish words he had just studied, as well as add some new ones. It gave me wonderful ideas of how to make flashcards for the adjectives as well, and the sweet silliness went a long way with my 2 and one year old too! A must! Sra. These Boynton board books cannot go wrong with the young-uns. My nephews and nieces ask me to read them over and over again.
Really fun and educational

This was a fun way to teach my daughter about opposites and she enjoys it being read to her over and over and telling me the difference now.
My son's first and favorite book!

My 15-month old insists that we read this book to him at least five or six times a day. It was the first book he picked out to be read to him and he always searches for it on the bookshelf. It's colorful and fun and I hope your child will love it as much as ours does!
Entertaining and fun!

We've been reading this book to our twins since they were infants. Now, as 2-yr.-olds, they are able to go though page by page and tell us all about what they see. I think it has really helped them get a good start figuring out abstract concepts. Next to "Goodnight Moon" and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?", this one is consistently picked out for evening reading time.
