I had read Outback by Aaron Fletcher and wanted more by him. This book is about a time in the 1800s and picks up some of the people from Outback to tie it all neatly together. This was a great story but always too conveniently tieing up loose ends whereas Outback was a more moving story that maybe didn't end as you would like. Still, it is worth the read.
Excellent Reading

Enjoyed reading this book more than any read in ages. It is equal to the previous book --"OUTBACK". Follows the same trend with occasional visits by the characters of the first book. I read it through fairly fast to get the story then re-read slowly to absorb the history and description of the locale. I would reccomend it to anyone that enjoys history in fiction form.

David Kerrick is convicted unjustly of a crime in England and is sentenced to serve his time in the prison camps in Australia. He vows to someday have the largest station in the Australian Outback. Eventually he gets to fulfill his dreams and starts Tibooburra Station, located in the vast outback, and eventually meets the woman that will become his wife. They start the legacy of the Kerrick family which is continued through subsequent books. I found them very well written and enjoyable to read.
