I thought it was a great read.

Fabulous storyline and creative characters. Historic facts regarding women’s lives in the 1800’s and value placed on motherhood. Superstitions as to why illness, inability to conceive, etc. happened and the punishment handed out was factual. Loved how the young female character became a strong, tough person to reckon with!!! I’m 60 years old and truly enjoyed this author.
