I've been reading this run of the Outsiders since they started coming out in trade paperback form, and I've been a fan from the start. This particular trade is one of the best so far. The writing's always been good, and the artwork in the included issues is great... almost a manga style look to it. I'm also liking this storyline... to me, the Outsiders was always about the shady side of superheroing (word?), and doing the dirty jobs that Superman won't touch. That seems to be the attitude here, and in my opinion it's working.
A Solid Arc

This was a pretty good volume overall it had some rough points but, overall it was a solid read and the art is prett solid. I really liked the Black Lightning story line and that was worth the money alone. This is the last solo arc of the Outsiders and it was a good one I enjoyed it greatly. The series wraps with the Checkout crossover and has since be relaunched as Batman and the Outsiders.
