A good book to start (4.5-5 stars)

as to say this is a good start to express your feelings, your emotions, your actions, even your anger or your frustration, just as you read this book. 'Cuz I haven't even put it down yet 'cuz it's still good. This is nothing I shouldn't give away 'cuz it's isn't helping me at all or what reason, it doesn't matter. Well long period of time, if u're dealing w/ depression, suicide, or any type of illness incl. high blood pressure, anxiety, panic attacks, eating disorder, etc. you must have this. I recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of this.

This book had a dramatic impact on my life... and also on my husband. Even though we both handle anger VERY differently, we both found extremely helpful information here. Dr. Carlson effectively demonstrates how anger has many faces and expresses itself in many different ways. Most importantly, he explains so clearly how anger is really an expression of either hurt or fear, and gives examples of healthier ways to express the fear or hurt so we don't feel driven to turn it in on ourselves or outward against others.I HIGHLY recommend this book if you feel overwhelmed (or even underwhelmed) with hurts or anger in your life.

This book is finally a real help when dealing with anger. The author gives you steps on how to prevent your anger and deal with past anger in a Christian manner. He gives examples of mishandled anger, Biblical principles about anger, and how to handle anger in a Christlike way. I highly recommend this book!
