Very good for beginner painters

I like to have as many references as I can about the subjects of my paintings. This is a good book for reference and beginner painters. The author explains the projects well and the materials are not extensive. The paints are craft paints, useful if you don't want to spend so much money with the professional paints.

I have been painting flowers for a little over a year and decided to branch out into bird painting. In only one week, I have completed many fantastic bird paintings because of this easy to follow and comprehensive book!!! Love it!
