He also introduces important personalities, such as Charles W. Grubbs, founder of the Grubbs Manufacturing Company, who made the first commercial duck call, and C. M. Woolworth, who bought Poitevin b rothers, i nc., makers of Singing River Decoys, in 1940 as a result of the increased interest in the duck-decoy industry.
