Patch is a great story for young children. Great for the children who love horses and a lesson all in one. My daughter picked up on the lesson hidden in the story and she has read this book every day since Christmas.

My daughter loves this series. It is a great book for horse lovers. It is an interesting book with nice picture and great printing. Very good book for beginning chapter book readers. Highly recommended.

This book is fantastic if you like fiction on horses. I liked this book because it had, Patch, Lauran, Gold charm and Sarah. It took please at a stable .A rider named Lauran who owned a horse named Patch; he is black and white .Patch use to win at competitions. Lauran and Patch saw a new blonde girl and a new horse. The new girl introduced herself , her name is Sarah and her horse's name is Gold charm . Sarah and Gold charm went to jump. When Lauran went into the woods Sarah and Gold charm went first into the wood. I like patch because it was written by Kristen Earhart. It had fluency and it was exciting to read. If you love horses. I love it and you will to.

I bought this book for my 1st Grade daughter and she read it 4 times on the way home!!! It was a great book to build her confidence and allow her to move into chapter books on her own. The book was well written and quickly grabbed the readers attention . My daughter was hooked from the first page.

I was SO happy when I saw these adorable, well priced books at the store! Picked them both up--these are great books for younger children! We have Pony Pals books but those are larger chapter books geared towared older children (8-10rys). These Stablemates books have beautiful, full color illustrations that cover every page with large,easy to read print. These do have chapters, but they are short--these are perfect for reading to your little pre-schooler and perfect for the beginner readers! My daughter and I LOVE these books and can't wait for more editions to be released! We will definitely be purchasing more!
