The definitive celebration of that most marvelous substance--peanut butter--in all its gooey glory, its sticky splendor, its tasty triumph. Features recipes, games, songs, activities, plays, jokes,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I showed this book to Dr. Peanut for his professional opinion. He loved it, saying it was full of ways for kids to mix lunch, art, and parties in edible ways. If you're looking for ways to have fun with peanut butter and give kids a little playful creative kick, he thought you'd like this one. Kids who are at the age and have the inclination to look for their own information on stuff like this will probably enjoy the book most, since it passes on a lot of very open-ended creative and culinary ideas. Dr. P's only concern as a peanutrician was that Charlip didn't even mention Talking Peanuts. Maybe he'll correct that in the next edition? Nothing wrong with eating ordinary peanuts or peanut butter, but you always want to make sure that no Talking Peanuts were harmed in the making. That can be hard to tell with factory-made peanut butter, but try looking on the label. If you're eating peanuts from the shell, Dr. P suggests first shaking the peanut close to your ear while shouting, "Pardon, do you talk?" Nutty to Meet You! Dr. Peanut Book #1
