Knowing Deborah personally, I can say she lives what she writes. She's a precious woman, who has learned to move from city to country and can help anyone who wants to do the same! The tips in this book however are not only for country folks! Being a city dweller myself, I found them timely, cost saving and just plain interesting to say the least- ideas I never would have thought of. If you own Carla Emery's book, THE ENCYCLOPEDIA TO COUNTRY LIVING, you will love this book as well- it's a great compliment and there are not any repeats of information. I love the lawn care and kitchen helps, as we have children with allergies and a dog that we don't want to use alot chemicals around. The tips in this book are invaluable and well worth the monies! I really love the updated design and hardcover version of this treasure as well.
