It's rare to find a book that has so many interesting recipes of all your old time favorites. They're easy and can be prepared in a matter of minutes. This is a must on everyone's cookbook shelf. I couldn't decide which recipe I would feature because all of them were so desireable. And, Gay gives lots of choices of other ingredients to add to change the taste.... so get your copy and enjoy!!

I like to find good regional cookbooks, and this one has some excellent recipes--just made the cold cucumber soup to rave comments from guests. But a highlight of this cookbook is the art--the stylish illustrations by Gay Estes raise it to a higher level of enjoyment.
