Fun for read-aloud

This is a terrific book for read-aloud to small children. It's got a nice story centered around a little mystery -- where did all the ducks on the farm go? The artwork is bright and colorful, the characters cute and adorable. I read this many times to my kids.

My son just turned two and he LOVES this book -- definitely a favorite. The illustrations are beautiful and the story is easy for young toddlers to understand. He enjoys pointing out Pete, Polo, grandpa and all of the ducks, along with the goat and other farm friends. He likes telling us about what's happening on the pages, such as a duck turning on the water pump or Pete peddling his bike. We'll be buying other books by this author!
