A useful book with a lot of examples

This book is clearly not for the beginners, as implied in the title - a guide. It is however useful both for the intermediate and the advanced. Style and organisation are somewhat debatable but once they are grasped, it is near- joy to press on with the chapters. In conclusion, it could have been better laid-out.
Alot of stuff but vary thin in some areas

A large range of topics were covered from VBA techniques to multiuser security but many things mentioned in the book weren't given enough time. A more indepth look on many instances would have made it more informative. Trying to say too much can make you say too little.
