Pharmacy Practice And The Law, Second Edition is an essential reference for practitioners in both institutional and retail settings, pharmacy students, and attorneys who practice in pharmacy law. This thoroughly updated Second Edition provides the latest on pharmacy practice legal issues including advertising, state pharmacy practice acts, professional and product liability, hospital law issues, antitrust, third-party issues, employment and ethics. An Instructor's manual is available.
This is a great review of pharmacy law practice. I guarantee by reading this book thoroughly, you will have an understanding and an appreciation of law practice. Heck, you might even go to law school yourself. There are a great many examples of past cases that are and will be relevant in the way you practice your profession. It is very thorough and should belong in the bookshelf in the home or workplace of any pharmacist for as long as they practice.

This book is in great condition, almost brand new. Description accurate. It is perfect for my pharmacy law class and even though I chose the older edition, all of the information contained in it, has so far been sufficient. Highly recommend this seller, received quickly. Will buy from this seller again.

The Pharmacy Law book arrived within a few days, even though I chose the free "SuperSaver Shipping." The book was in brand-new condition and smelled new, too.

Good overview of Law. I took a class from the author and the book is ok. It's a little wordy, but if you just read it a couple times, it goes over in great detail and history what is federal law. It also has case studies with follow up things to think about (real life examples of the law), about 4 per chapter. Need something to study off of for the California Law Test: Weissmann's Book (Buy it at the USC Bookstore). Federal Law? It's all in here, you don't really need this book necessarily to pass the board exam. Yeahhhhhh, required for class, that's only reason I got it. Recommend it? 50/50 - worth a shot

This is a fairly easy to read text that is helpful in preparing for the pharmacy boards. It provides essential coverage of pertinent information needed in the everyday practice of pharmacy. As a pharmacy intern I found this text not only excellent for board review but also as a continuing source for reference as a pharmacist. It is divided into varioius chapters with relavent and useful case studies. It also raises day-to-day ethical questions in the practice of pharamcy that you may encounter. If you're looking for a comprehensive, easy-to-follow book on pharmacy practice, both in hospital and retail based environments, then this is the book for you.
