Excellent Survey of Western Philosphical Thinkers

If the body of western philosophical thinking were a cafe, this book provides an outstanding sampler for the non-philosopher to "taste" and see what they like and don't like. You won't get the full experience of any one philosopher. That the reader needs to get on their own research. But it gives a great primer.
